Makeup & Skincare by Anasili is a small, independently owned business in Jamaica Plain, run by its owner, Anasili Medina Baez. The business is women-owned. It describes itself as offering strong customer service, skin knowledge and beauty expertise.

The facial menu is built around a Signature Facial, which takes about 1 hour 10 minutes and combines enzymes, ultrasonic exfoliation, massage, a hydro-jelly mask, serums and LED light therapy. A Dermaplaning Facial, which takes one hour, removes fine facial hair and dead skin cells from the outermost layer of skin, then adds a double cleanse, gua sha and lymphatic drainage massage, an ice globe treatment, LED light therapy and oxygen infusion. Collagen and hydrodermabrasion facial packages are offered for a limited time.

Makeup is offered as two application options. Soft Glam takes 45 minutes and gives a neutral eye with one or two eyeshadows and medium to full coverage foundation, with lashes included. It does not include smoky eye, cut crease or glitter. Full Glam takes 55 minutes, includes full coverage foundation and lashes with a choice of synthetic lashes, and suits halo, smoky eye, glitter and cut crease looks. Mink lashes for Full Glam may carry an upcharge.

Waxing includes eyebrow wax and tint from $25, which takes about 30 minutes, and Brazilian packages at $180, including one with underarm wax. Makeup classes are offered, and the studio takes requests for bridal party and makeup party events. Facial services require a 50% deposit at booking. New clients must complete an intake form 24 hours before their visit. The studio is open Tuesday through Thursday 10 am to 7 pm, Friday and Saturday 9 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm, and is closed on Mondays. Gift certificates, including eGift cards, and a professional 15-piece brush set with a brush bag are sold.
