About

Make You Well was founded in 2018 in Torrance, California, with a single clinic, and brought its model to Texas in 2022. The organization says it employs more than 150 team members and works with over 30 healthcare providers. It is a member of Privia Medical Group, a multi-specialty medical group.

The approach centers on the whole patient, looking at physical health, mental well-being and personal confidence together. Preventive care is a major emphasis, including annual wellness visits, routine screenings and early diagnostic testing.

Clinics are in Colleyville (4214 Gateway Dr, Suite 100, (817) 354-7999), Richardson (4011 E Renner Rd, Suite 110, (972) 234-3299), Sugar Land (1111 Highway 6, Suite 40, inside the NRG Wellness Center, (281) 340-9355) and three Odessa locations operated under the name Make You Well, First Physicians. Colleyville and Richardson are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Sugar Land is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Not every location offers the same services, so it is worth calling the clinic you plan to visit first. Patients can book online and reach their health records at any time through a secure patient portal. Same-day appointments are offered at every location, and walk-in urgent care is available at all six clinics for acute needs such as flu, infections, minor burns and fractures. The organization accepts most major PPO plans, and Colleyville also accepts Medicare and Medicare Advantage.

The Sugar Land clinic runs a Concierge Choice Program that offers longer appointments and a more direct relationship with the provider. The organization says its Sugar Land diagnostics program is not found at most clinics. Medical weight management there includes nutrition and fitness plans, with bariatric surgery referrals and aftercare when appropriate, and the clinic says it has run the area's largest and most established medical weight loss program for over 30 years. Sugar Land also takes part in clinical research trials.

The Odessa clinics are on East University (3051 East University, (432) 362-4376), West University (1220 West University, (432) 332-6600) and Wendover Avenue (4222 Wendover Ave, Suite 600, (432) 552-5656), serving the Permian Basin. Every Odessa location has on-site laboratory and X-ray services. East University offers walk-in urgent care and family medicine with no appointment needed, and Saturday hours. Several Odessa providers speak Spanish. The practice describes itself as the Permian Basin's health care leader for over 20 years and as Odessa's most trusted multi-specialty practice.

The care model treats physical health, mental well-being and personal confidence as parts of one picture, with a focus on prevention and early testing.
