Make My Lashes

Make My Lashes is a licensed private studio upstairs in a building in Toluca Lake, and the building offers complimentary parking. Kristina Geidebrekht started the studio, and its clients travel in from the surrounding areas of Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Sherman Oaks, Tarzana, Woodland Hills and Orange County. Services are performed in reclining chairs, and guests can have tea, espresso or chilled bottled water during their visit.

Eyelash extensions come in Express (4-6D), Classic, Regular Volume and Mega Volume styles. Classic sets cost $225 with Kristina Geidebrekht and $195 with Tanya, and Mega Volume sets cost $295 and $280. LED bonding adds $100 to any Classic, Regular Volume or Mega Volume set with either artist. A lash lift and tint costs $150 with Kristina and $135 with Tanya, a Korean lash lift and tint costs $160 and $145, and a lash tint alone costs $70 and $40. Lash Lift Day pricing of $115 with Kristina and $95 with Tanya applies on select dates. Brow shaping and tint costs $60, brow lamination with shaping costs $100, and brow lamination with shaping and tint costs $110, all with Tanya. Lash and brow combinations start at $195 for a lash lift and tint with brows and reach $340 for Mega Volume extensions with brows.

A house call at a home, office or hotel room costs $750 and takes about 2.5 hours. Appointments before 10:30 AM or after 7:00 PM carry a $70 surcharge.

Bookings are made online through the services page, with part of the cost prepaid at booking and the rest paid at the visit. Accepted payments are PayPal, Apple Pay, and credit or debit cards, and clients email the studio after paying the deposit. Unpaid deposits within 24 hours cancel the booking. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours notice through the confirmation email, and no-shows lose the deposit or require prepaying 50% of the next service. Late clients should text or call, since appointments run back to back. Children are not allowed and child care is not offered.

Extensions are expected to last 3-6 weeks, and refills are not offered, so each set is priced as a new set. Lash lifts typically last 6-8 weeks. Removing extensions applied by the studio costs nothing when a new set goes on the same visit, removing them without a new set costs $20, and removing another salon's extensions costs $30. Gift cards come in set amounts or a chosen amount and never expire.

Each set is designed around the client's eye shape and lifestyle, with looks from dramatic to subtle. The founder follows the European technique for applying extensions, and the studio says it uses a premium adhesive and licensed technique for every set.
