The salon describes itself as a boutique salon that pairs advanced technique with thoughtful recommendations and a welcoming atmosphere. It operates as a collective in which each stylist offers a different experience.

A color visit starts with a conversation about the hair before anything is mixed. Stylists talk through the plan, and clients can bring photos of color they like. Color is quoted after that conversation, because current color, length and the steps needed all affect the cost. Each color price includes one 40-gram bowl of color, while extra color for thicker or longer hair and an added toner are extra. Clients are asked to book color online first and then call, so the stylist knows the hair history ahead of time.

All color is done with Davines, which the salon says is formulated with ingredients of natural origin and describes as the best quality color available. Aveda is used for hair care and styling at the stations and for blow-dries at the backbar after color services. Aveda and Davines hair care are both sold for home use. The Keratin Smoothing Treatment can be done the same day as color, adds about three hours, and is recommended for hair prone to frizz year-round. Because the salon sits at about 5,400 feet, it notes that Colorado air and water are drier and harder on hair. Extensions begin with a consultation before a first install so color can be matched and the hair ordered, and move-ups are booked by phone.

A hair salon spread across three floors with eight chairs. Free parking is available at the door, and the building is wheelchair accessible. For those arriving by transit, it sits a short walk from the US 36 and Broomfield park-n-ride, served by the RTD Flatiron Flyer, which the salon says runs direct from Union Station. Clients often come from Westminster, Superior, Louisville, Lafayette and Boulder. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; otherwise the salon may charge 50% of the service price. Guests who arrive more than 15 minutes late without contacting the salon may be treated as no-shows and charged 50% of the service price.
