The Mago method attaches each piece with a pre-tied double knot on a ring, with no glue, beads or tape. The salon describes it as suitable for fine, normal, thin and thick hair, and as a low-damage option that works for sports and swimming. Mago hair is sold in bags of 25 pieces and typically lasts five to seven months before it needs removal. It can also be converted to microbead extensions and reused, which the salon says extends its life to 22 to 24 months. The studio also works with DreamCatchers, which the salon describes as permanent, reusable and styleable, and with Habit hand-tied wefts, Easihair Pro, Halo extensions, tape hair and clip-in or flip-in pieces.
A visit starts with a free consultation of about 30 minutes, which can be booked in person or virtually. Clients who live out of state or out of town can complete the consultation and paperwork online beforehand, so only one in-person visit, on install day, is needed. Financing through Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, and clients must be approved before the appointment. Clients who cannot attend are asked to let the salon know as soon as possible so the appointment can be rescheduled.
Free Brazilian blowout and color consultations are also offered.
Methods are matched to the client's hair and lifestyle, with the consultation and planning handled online where possible so out-of-town clients need only one in-person visit.
