MAD MEL HAIR

Mad Mel Hair is located at 56 S Broadway in Geneva, Ohio. Owner Melissa Reynolds has worked in hair since 2017, and the salon's menu reflects her focus on cutting, color, extensions, curly hair and waxing.

The cutting menu runs from clipper work and express cuts with no wash to a full haircut with wash, leave-in treatment and style. There is a separate curly cut for clients who have had one before, and a longer curly cut done on dry natural curls that includes a unicorn treatment. Bang trims are also offered.

Color services cover root retouches with permanent color, all-over single-process color, glosses and vivid glazes, face-framing highlights, partial and full-head highlights and balayage, custom color built around the client's goals, full-head bleaching, and color correction for mishaps. Several of the longer color services include a K-18 treatment.

Extensions are done with weft installation using the drop dead method, and removal is offered with a wash and style afterward. Waxing is available for eyebrows, lip, chin, or the full face. A consultation on hair goals, pricing and color is offered, and its fee is waived when a recommended service is booked.

Many services ask for a deposit when booking, and a 50% cancellation fee applies, so clients who cannot attend are asked to contact the salon as soon as possible to reschedule.
