Melissa Wood started out at 15 as a salon receptionist and went on to work as a salon manager, hairdresser, educator and owner. Her specialty is the French haircutting method, and she built her work around polished classic shapes with a modern edge, adding some trendier looks. Bobs and lived-in layers are among the cuts she enjoys most.
Color was formulated for each guest, aiming for dimensional results that look natural. Services ranged from blowouts and cuts to hand-painted balayage, foiling and lived-in color, with prices listed as starting points that could shift with each guest's needs. Cut and color concerns reported within seven days of a visit were corrected at no extra charge. The salon closed in September 2026 when the owner retired.
Color was formulated for each guest with a focus on a natural-looking result, and cuts combined classic polish with a modern touch.
