Luxe Lengths was founded by Tia Tisdale, who began doing hair extensions part-time and left a corporate job in 2010 to work in hair full time. The salon is in Suite D on the top floor of a building on Professional Road.

About

Appointments are booking-only, with no walk-ins and no guests allowed at appointments. New clients are asked to book a consultation first, and it is required for braidless sew-ins, Brazilian knots, I-tips, K-tips, microlink wefts, tape-ins, hair color and relaxers. A virtual consultation is free and runs about 30 minutes by FaceTime or the Booksy app. An in-person consultation at the salon costs $25, is not deducted from the service price, and covers methods, maintenance, pricing and hair selection. Saturday visits are available on request with a 25% added fee, and after-hours or emergency appointments cost an extra $50 per hour.

Hair is not included in service prices. Clients can order hair through the salon for an extra charge or bring their own if it meets the salon's quality standards. Custom orders and colored hair are paid for in advance, and hair for Brazilian knots, F-tips and K-tips must be ordered three weeks ahead when it is not in stock. The salon does not give refunds on services or hair purchased, and any concerns are handled by contacting the salon directly.

The menu covers many installation methods, from traditional sew-ins and tape-ins to Brazilian knots, F-tips, I-tips, K-tips and invisible microlink wefts, plus removals, adjustments, relaxers, silk presses and scalp and hair treatments. The salon also runs one-on-one hair extension classes for working stylists and students, sells professional hair care products for use in and out of the salon, and offers an online shop, gift cards and service packages. Services can be booked online.

The salon describes its approach as private one-on-one service using current techniques, with an emphasis on keeping natural hair healthy.
