LUX Studio was opened by Lina Montenegro, who founded the studio in downtown Kansas City. Body and cryo services are non-invasive, with no downtime, and include CryoToning for firmness and CryoSlimming for localized fat deposits. Facials are built on DMK products, and the studio also offers red light, microcurrent, cupping and wood-tool treatments. Lash services range from classic and hybrid extensions to Korean lash lifts, and brow services include waxing, tinting, henna and lamination.

Booking is done through the Square page linked from the website, and a payment method is required to schedule. Appointments are confirmed by replying to a text sent after booking. Clients should arrive on time, keep phones silenced, and bring no extra guests, pets or children. Gift cards can be bought online. A free parking lot is behind the building on the south side of 43rd Street, and clients ring the doorbell to enter.
