Luna Salon & Spa has operated since 2013 and is owned by Cindy McNeilley, who also works as a stylist. The salon serves clients from Hamburg and the surrounding communities, and it lists massage among its offerings alongside hair, nail and skin care.

About

Hair appointments begin with a consultation with the stylist, and clients are asked to arrive with clean hair. A wash and blow dry is included in hair services but can be declined, and curly hair clients who use curl products are not normally blow dried. Stylists may decline a service that would compromise hair integrity and will suggest a different plan instead. Before services begin, the team reviews each client's Beauty Budget. Listed hair prices are starting prices, and final charges can be higher depending on hair length, thickness and how much product is used.

Nail work uses CND products, including Shellac gel polish, and the menu covers classic and spa manicures and pedicures, dip, Gel X, Plex gel and acrylic services, plus nail repair and nail art. Skin care starts with a skin analysis for custom facials, followed by product recommendations for the client's skin. Chemical peels are a resurfacing treatment that exfoliates the skin and clears clogged pores.

The salon has an Associate Program for aspiring stylists, and stylists start at Level One and move to higher levels as demand on their time grows. Artists are required to complete continuing education every year. The salon states that client and provider health is its top priority, and it asks clients who are unwell to reschedule. The salon is currently looking for new stylists and nail techs, and aspiring cosmetologists can apply by phone or email.
