Luna Beauty Studio

Luna Beauty Studio operates from Suite 124 at Phenix Salon Suites on Carmans Road in Massapequa, NY. Owner Stephanie D has run the suite since September 2019. The menu covers hair color, brow services, lash services, facial waxing, makeup and spray tans, haircuts, styling and smoothing treatments.

Every service begins with a consultation about the client's goals, lifestyle and preferences. Hair color clients can book a free in-person consultation of about 15 minutes before committing to a service.

The studio uses clean, vegan and cruelty-free professional brands. The owner says product testing and research shaped the choice of brands and describes them as the best-performing clean options, according to the salon. Aftercare products are also sold for clients to use at home. The studio takes part in SalonCycle, a program that recycles salon waste such as used gloves and color tubes.

Booking is done through the studio's GlossGenius site. A card on file is needed to book, but nothing is charged until the appointment day. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours ahead carry a 50% fee, and there is a 15-minute grace period for lateness before a visit counts as a no-show. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100, $200 or custom amounts and are final sale. Hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 AM to 6 PM, with the studio closed Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.
