Appointments are required. Booking takes a deposit of one-third of the service price, which is non-refundable and non-transferable if the client cannot make the appointment, and the remaining balance is paid at the visit. Changes need at least 24 hours notice; with that notice the deposit moves to the new date, while with less notice it is forfeited and a new deposit is needed to rebook.

Hair should arrive clean, washed within the last one to two days, fully detangled and dry, with no heavy oils or products. If hair is not ready, the appointment may be moved, and detangling can be arranged for an extra fee. A 15-minute grace period applies to late arrivals; arriving 15 to 30 minutes late may shorten the service, and arriving 30 minutes or more late may lead to cancellation with the deposit kept.

The shop is open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 9 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 7 PM, and is closed Sunday. Clients can call or text (405) 250-4479 or email info@luminencebeauty.co. The salon also sells beauty supplies for use between visits.

The salon says its styles are meant to protect natural hair and support growth, with every braid done carefully and without rushing, and gentle techniques chosen for client comfort.
