Love Salon is a hair space made up of independent stylists who work together under one roof on Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard. Each stylist runs their own bookings and sets rates based on experience and specialty, so listed prices are starting points rather than fixed quotes.

About

The salon describes its aim as a safe, collaborative space for both stylists and clients, and says it values empathy, kindness, self-expression, community and love. It welcomes all hair textures and supports continuing education for its stylists.

The salon is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is closed on Mondays. Services are by appointment only. New clients book a New Client appointment with a stylist, even if they have already booked with another Love stylist. If a stylist's schedule is full, clients can join that stylist's waitlist. The salon uses eco-conscious styling products that are low- or no-tox and cruelty-free. It is a member of Green Circles Salons, and the salon says it recycles up to 95% of the waste it creates.
