LouLou Lash Boutique

LouLou Lash Boutique is based in Oceanside, California, and was founded by Hollyann, a licensed cosmetologist. She began in the cosmetics field and moved into eyelash extensions after about five years there. She has been doing lash extensions for six years and has worked in the beauty industry for ten. Her specialties are volume and mega lash styles, and she customizes each set to the client's preferences.

Training is a major part of the business. The beginner lash course runs two days. Day one covers theory and practice on a doll head, and day two is practice on a live model. Topics include the foundations of lash extensions, placement for different styles and eye shapes, social media posts, booking appointments, setting up a station, where to buy supplies, consent forms, insurance information, aftercare and starting a business. Each student works at the LouLou Lash station during training, and students who finish receive a kit and certification. Va-Va Volume Training teaches the technique used to make Promade Volume Fans and does not require a live model; completing it also earns a kit and certification.

The boutique sells lash supplies, including 100% handmade soft silk lashes sold loose, which the site says are lighter than factory-made lashes. Other items include Clover Leaf Gold Tweezers, Lash Shampoo with Brush, First Love Adhesive and Nichiban Tape, along with Hollyann's own line of lash extension supplies. Body treatments are offered alongside lash services. Ultrasonic cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound aimed at stubborn localized fat and cellulite. Other options include Radio Frequency Therapy for skin tightening, Laser Lipo using cold, low-level laser technology, Red Light Therapy, Wood Therapy, Buttock Enhancement Vacuum Therapy and Sauna Blanket Body Wraps.

Teaching is central here: courses are built so students can perform lash services and run their own business, and each lash set is customized to the client.
