LooseLocs operates from a private suite at 2910 Justin Rd in Highland Village. The salon describes its experience as unhurried and one-on-one, with each appointment centered on the client rather than a rotating schedule of visitors.

Color is the core of the menu. Services run from low light, tone and gloss through highlights, full and partial balayage, color correction and color removal, with package options that combine color with a haircut or blowdry. Extensions are another main focus, covering installs by row or I-tip, move-ups and removals, plus V-Light half and full head options. Haircuts are offered for women, men, and boys and girls aged 12 and under, along with bang and neck trims.

Several services carry booking details worth knowing. Consultations for general appointments and for color correction are offered at no charge, as is an extension consultation. Brazilian Blowout and Keratin Complex bookings require a $150 deposit. Buy Now, Pay Later is available in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. The LooseLocs Blowdry Club is a monthly membership at $199 that includes four shampoo, blowdry and style appointments, and prebooking is recommended.

Cancellation terms apply. Appointments canceled with more than 24 hours' notice carry no fee, while shorter notice incurs a fee of either 50% or 75%, according to the salon. Clients who repeatedly cancel on short notice or miss appointments without notice may be asked to pay a 50% deposit for three future appointments, and after three missed appointments the salon will not reschedule them.

The suite is open Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 AM to 2:30 PM, Thursday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 1:30 PM to 7 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 6 PM. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Appointments are one-on-one, with the salon's focus kept on the individual client. The owner states that the health and integrity of clients' natural hair is her top priority.
