Look At Me opened in 2022 on North Main Street in Walnut Creek and works as a nail and lash salon. Nail services are the main focus, with Russian manicures a specialty, and the menu also covers KART pedicures, lash extensions and lifts, and brow services.
The salon describes its approach as careful attention to detail in cleaning and precision work, in a clean and comfortable space. It says it sterilizes every tool using a multi-step process to a standard it describes as medical-grade. It also describes its nail care as non-toxic and free of harmful chemicals.
Its Russian manicure is a dry manicure done with an electronic file and takes about two hours. A regular manicure without polish takes 50 minutes, and a Russian manicure with regular polish takes about 80 minutes. For clients who want two services at once, it offers a 4 hands experience where a manicure and pedicure are done at the same time, booked by text or phone.
Lash services use extensions the salon makes itself from hypoallergenic fiber, used for all lash procedures. Options include express sets, classic lashes, light volume (2D), mega express, mega volume and 3D volume. Lash tints, lash lifts and lash lift with tint are also offered. Clients are asked to arrive with clean eyes and no eye makeup, since removing makeup at the start of the visit can shorten the service time. Extensions typically last about three to four weeks, depending on maintenance.
The salon lists a Basic Course called Russian Manicure for Beginners, a three-day course for $3,000 that includes all materials, tools and practice models, with four live models. It says technicians complete advanced training twice a month and that each technician is internally certified to the salon's own studio standards. It also says it has more than 500 client reviews and a Salon of the Year 2025 title from the Nail Excellence Awards.
The space is described as a warm, positive studio where clients can relax. Neck massagers and complimentary drinks are offered in the salon, and the salon describes itself as pet-friendly and welcomes well-behaved pets. Booking changes made at least 24 hours ahead are free; changes 12 to 24 hours ahead are charged 50% of the service value, and later changes are charged in full. Gift certificates are sent by email, can be bought in any amount, and do not expire.
