About

The academy sits in Centereach on Long Island and draws students from across Suffolk and Nassau County, from Selden and Holbrook to Port Jefferson, Patchogue and Riverhead. The campus is a few minutes from the LIE and Nicolls Road. According to the school, it is Long Island's beauty school for estheticians and nail technicians.

The core program is a 600-hour esthetics course that prepares students for the New York State esthetician licensing exams. Students can take it full-time on weekdays from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, finishing in about six months, or part-time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 10:00 PM, finishing in about twelve months. Training covers 240 hours of facial and body procedures, 70 hours of makeup, 60 hours of hair removal waxing and 23 hours of State Board preparation. No prior experience is needed to start. Applicants must be at least 17 years old and complete a Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Awareness course before applying. Licensed estheticians can work in day spas, salons, medical spas, waxing and brow studios, lash studios, makeup artistry or their own skincare businesses.

A separate 250-hour Nail Specialty Program is also licensed by the state and held on the Centereach campus. It covers manicuring, pedicuring, nail extensions, gel nails, nail art, infection control, anatomy and business practices. Classes meet Thursday and Friday evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons over 20 weeks, arranged as two 10-week quarters.

For lash and skin professionals, the academy offers short courses. The eyelash extension course is 12 hours across two Saturday sessions, with 10 of those hours hands-on, covering classic application, lash mapping, fills, removals, consultation and sanitation on mannequins and supervised live models. Students receive a Certificate of Completion. The lash lift course runs on Saturdays and includes a complete keratin lash lift kit for each student, live-model practice under supervision, and continued access to instructor guidance after class. Microdermabrasion and chemical peel courses are one-day Saturday classes from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, open to students and working estheticians, cosmetologists and beauty professionals. Both combine theory with hands-on work on live models, and both have limited seats filled first come, first served.

Enrollment for the shorter courses is rolling. Students can reach the academy with questions after finishing a course. Prospective students can book an in-person campus tour of about 30 minutes that covers the facility, classrooms, treatment areas and tuition. The school also offers a Beauty Pro Quiz to help visitors find the right program. Payment plans with weekly or monthly options and no interest are available, and the school accepts cash, check, credit and debit cards, Affirm and Klarna.

Training is hands-on and supervised, with students practicing on live models and receiving close instructor guidance.

Lash courses are kept small, with close attention from the instructor.
