Locs By Us is a natural hair lounge and beauty supply in Quincy, founded by Shirley and Mike Joseph. According to the salon, its eight locticians have a combined total of over six decades working on loc maintenance, braids and everyday natural hair care.
Visits are by appointment only, Monday through Saturday. Clients can request a free virtual consultation by sending details and photos of their hair so the team can recommend services. Hair is not included in any service, and for braiding the salon can suggest where to buy it.
Loc and braiding services include a wash and scalp massage, except for Loc Styling. Specialty washes include an ACV detox and a nourishing shampoo and conditioning wash, and a Batana hot oil treatment can be added to them. The salon also runs hands-on workshops and classes for aspiring and experienced stylists.
According to the salon, its team works to a shared standard of excellence.
