A first visit usually starts with a consultation for $40. The stylist answers questions, shows pictures, and typically demonstrates on another client so you can see the process. The consultation includes a test lock and a quoted price that stays valid for 30 days. If you are switching from another stylist or are already past your scheduled service, a transfer or over-scheduled consultation for $30 looks at how long it has been since your last visit, whether repairs are needed, how much time the work will take, and whether your locs should be saved before retightening.

Retightening is the core service. A standard Sisterlock retightening is $160 and is usually booked every 6 to 8 weeks, taking about 4 hours or less. Micro Sisterlock retightening is $180, booked every 4 to 5 weeks, and usually takes up to 5 hours. Brotherlock retightening is $160, booked every 8 to 10 weeks, and usually takes 4 hours or less. Current clients receive a free edge tighten-up between appointments. Locking sessions are priced at the consultation, and the date is set at that visit.
