The Curl Dealer is a Southfield studio focused on textured hair, working from a suite on Evergreen Road. The menu runs from braids and locs to twists, styling, cuts and treatments, so clients can handle one-time appointments or ongoing loc and protective style care.

New clients pay a $25 non-refundable deposit, or $50 for the Loc Color Package. Clients who want to plan first can book a 15-minute consultation to talk through their current routine, concerns and goals, and that fee is deducted from any services booked the same day.

The studio is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Thursday from 9 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM, and is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Children are accepted from age 15, and no children or extra guests may come along unless they are being serviced.

Appointment changes need at least 48 hours' notice to avoid a cancellation fee. No-shows are charged a 50% fee, and arriving more than 15 minutes late cancels the appointment with the same 50% fee. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in $50, $75, $100 or $200 amounts or a custom amount and are final once sold.
