Sisterlocks is a hair care system for natural curly hair, started and kept without chemicals, gels, grease or heavy moisturizers. Installation uses a set grid of parts, and retightening is generally needed every four to six weeks. A full installation can take 20 hours or more, usually split across two or three days. Interlocs is offered as an alternative to the palm roll method of starting locs.

Wellness consultations build a health and wellness plan around each client's routine, with attention to weight, cravings, sleep and energy. The plan is built without calorie counting or lists of restricted foods. The trichology menu includes a consultation and analysis, low level laser therapy, microneedling scalp therapy, scalp descaling, scalp detox and exfoliation, aloe vera and salicylic acid treatment, and steam treatment. The studio describes low level laser therapy as an FDA-approved, non-surgical method for treating hair loss.

Long sessions are planned with stretch breaks at least every two hours and a one-hour break for lunch and dinner. Clients in the chair can use WiFi and streaming services such as Spotify, Hulu Plus and Netflix. Transfer clients need a consultation first, and anyone who has been away for six months or more needs a new consultation. Clients are asked to read the policies, including cancellation, before requesting a consultation. A membership offers personalized hair care services and discounts on products.
