Shawntina Horton

Shawntina Horton runs Lock N2 Wellness Studio in Prosper, with a practice centered on Sisterlocks, Interlocs, trichology and wellness consultation. She first trained in Sisterlocks at the Sisterlocks Training Program in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, taught by Master Trainer Marclin Williams-Barrett and Certified Training Associate Johnna Mitchell. Further Sisterlocks instruction followed in Dallas, given by Contessa Williams of Tress by Tess. On the wellness side, she completed the Health Coach Training Program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Her trichology education began with Dr. Kari Williams at Mahogany Hair Revolution Trichology Clinic in California, and she has since continued that study through the United States Trichology Institute (USTI). She also studied at Collin County Community College, at Purchase College in the State University of New York system, and at Everglades University. Her credentials cover holistic health, wellness consulting, holistic health coaching and trichology, and she is a Certified Hair Loss Practitioner/Trichologist. She is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), holds a certification from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), and is a Board Certified Holistic Health and Wellness Coach.
