Local Skincare Plug is a small esthetics business in El Cajon. Its facial menu runs from a customized 60-minute treatment to a 90-minute luxury facial that includes dermaplaning, cooling ice globes, high frequency and a scalp treatment or massage. The Acne Reset Facial is a 95-minute option for congested, breakout-prone skin, with deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions when appropriate and calming work. SWiCH treatments, using Circadia products, are a two-step option: a 60-minute Dermal Rejuvenation for aging or sun-damaged skin with no downtime, followed two weeks later by a 60-minute Enhancement Facial. A bundled Transformation Series combines both with personalized home-care recommendations.

Before booking a treatment, clients can book a 30-minute virtual Clear Skin Consultation for $49. It includes a skin assessment, a review of the current routine and product recommendations, and the client receives an emailed summary afterward. Add-ons such as the ice globe massage, high frequency and ingrown extraction can be added to treatments.

The studio also offers waxing for the face, brows, underarms, arms, hands, back, chest, stomach, legs, feet and intimate areas. Full Brazilian waxing takes about 35 minutes and can remove all hair from the front and back, with a maintenance option for established clients on a four to six week cycle. Lash services include lash lifts with tint, eyelash extension removal, and Classic, Hybrid and Volume full sets and fills at two and three weeks.

Booking details: the studio is open Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday from 10:30 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Clients have a 15-minute grace period, and late cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours or on the day are charged 50 percent of the service cost. No-shows are charged the full cost. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is accepted for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. Parking is available.

Treatments are customized to each client's skin and goals, and paired with simple home care aimed at long-term skin health.
