Local Glo operates from a private studio suite in Pelham. There is no Local Glo sign out front, so visitors look for the white building with a black awning and use the front doors.

The studio aims to make clients comfortable and describes itself as judgment-free, welcoming real skin and real bodies. Care is personalized rather than one-size-fits-all, and before a skincare treatment the studio talks through each client's goals, questions, and past attempts at improving their skin.

The menu covers Brazilian and brow waxing, a combined Brazilian wax and spray tan, dermaplaning, lash lifts with an optional tint, spray tans customized to skin tone, and cartilage, lobe and nose piercings. Clear Complexion Program clients receive a peel or enzyme treatment chosen according to their skin condition and program stage. A complementary consultation covers concerns, routine and goals, and a longer program consultation, priced by service, includes a customized plan from Face Reality.

Prices shown are starting rates and can vary by service selected. Clients arriving 15 or more minutes late must reschedule. Changes made with less than 48 hours' notice are charged 50% of the scheduled total, and no-shows are charged in full. All product and service sales are final. Prep guidance is provided for waxing, spray tans, lash lifts, nose piercings and skincare visits. Customer service can be reached at 205-955-3705 on Thursdays and Fridays, 9:30am to 4:30pm.
