Visits are by appointment, with bookings opening on the 15th of each month for the following month. A deposit is required on every service and is non-refundable, and a same-day reschedule forfeits it. Arriving more than 15 minutes late incurs a $25 late fee. Clients must be 16 or older, children are not allowed, and extra guests are not permitted because there is no waiting area. Most services take between two and four hours, and complimentary snacks and beverages are offered. The salon is cashless and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Parking, Wi-Fi and accessibility for people with disabilities are available.

Consultations are needed before starter loc services, color services and extensions. A consultation costs $45, is not credited toward the service, and cannot be booked on the same day as a service. Starter locs generally need about 4 inches of hair, though starting at 1 inch is possible. Loc extensions and instant locs need at least 4 inches. Hair styles should be removed before a service, and new growth over 1 inch carries a $50 upcharge. For reference, short locs are neck length or shorter, medium locs run from the shoulder blades to mid back, long locs run from mid back to the tailbone, and extra long locs run from the waist to the knee.

Classes include the Retwist Perfection class at $250, lasting about two hours, and a one-on-one loc fundamentals class at $950, lasting about 4.5 hours. A summer mentorship for high school students aged 16 and up covers loc fundamentals, gives participants salon experience and ends with a certificate of completion. The salon also lists open positions and accepts applications with a resume.
