The studio is led by its owner, a licensed barber whose main focus is dreadlocks and loc maintenance. Services are aimed at loc clients, including starter locs, maintenance and color.
Shampoo is included with every loc service, and haircut clients are asked to arrive with washed hair. New loc clients book a consultation before starter locs, maintenance or color. A deposit is required to book, is nonrefundable and counts toward the full price of the appointment. Cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a rescheduled visit carries the deposit to the new date. Appointments are made by contacting the business directly, as online scheduling is not currently offered.
The studio is open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. Bookings made after 6 pm, and same-day loc appointments, are $50 plus a service fee. Remaining balances can be paid by cash, Cash App or Zelle. Recent work can be seen on Instagram under @L_the_barber.
According to the owner, the priority is helping clients grow long, healthy hair.
