The loc menu covers starter locs, micro locs, loc maintenance with interlocking or palmrolling, palmrolling with styling, repair for thinning, broken or damaged locs, and loc extensions that use natural hair blended into existing locs. Scalp detox and repair and natural hair styling round out the menu, and custom and double process color are available using Matrix, GoldWell and Pravana color lines.
Appointments are preferred, though walk-ins are taken based on availability, so calling ahead is advised. New clients are encouraged to book a consultation to talk through hair goals, hair condition and recommended services, and consultations are offered for micro locs, traditional loc extensions, hair color, and hair and scalp concerns. Loc maintenance is generally recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on hair type and loc stage. Color on starter locs is usually postponed until the locs settle, unless the stylist judges the hair strong enough. Clients transitioning to locs from relaxed or chemically treated hair can book a consultation to plan the approach.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours ahead are not charged, cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service price, and no-shows are charged the full service price. The salon runs Affinity Rewards, where clients earn Rainbow Credits for bookings, plan orders, product purchases and site sign-up that can be redeemed for discounts. Hours are Sunday 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the salon closed Monday through Thursday. The phone number is 847.445.1954.
