Liz Clapsis Skin is a private studio located within Native Beauty on D Street SE. Founder Liz Clapsis built it on earlier experience at Bliss Spa at The W, Four Seasons Georgetown and The Ritz-Carlton. Bookings are kept deliberately few, so each visit can proceed at an unhurried pace.

Every facial starts with an assessment of how the skin is functioning, and the treatment is shaped around concerns, lifestyle and goals. The studio's focus is on a healthy skin barrier as the starting point for healthy skin. It uses professional lines from Alchimie Forever, Hale & Hush, Skincando and DermaplanePro, and it describes its treatments as fully customized.

The Signature Facial is a personalized 60-minute treatment and the suggested first visit for new clients or anyone uncertain which service to pick. The Restorative Facial lasts 90 minutes and includes added massage along with a hydrating jelly mask. The Advanced Corrective Facial + Brightening Peel takes 75 minutes and is built around the Alchimie Forever Brightening Peel, a formula of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) and botanical components. The peel can be altered or omitted if a milder approach is a better fit for the skin.

The Bridal Skin Prep Facial is an 80-minute service at $215 that includes about 20 minutes of consultation and planning, about 60 minutes of personalized facial, and a recap. Bridal prep is best started 3 to 12 months before the wedding, though clients can begin 1 to 3 months out, and booking early is encouraged because the schedule often fills several weeks ahead. Clients coming from Metro can get off at Eastern Market, directly across the street, and a public garage is about one block away; metered street parking is often available nearby, but some surrounding residential streets are limited to Zone 6 permit holders. Suite details are sent after booking is confirmed.
