About

The bus is a private party space for girls' birthday parties. It parks at a location the customer picks, such as a driveway, park or venue, and the party happens inside it. The business is based at the Palomar Transit Center in Chula Vista, and it says it has hosted more than 200 birthdays.

Inside, the party bus has pink leather seating, disco lights, mirrors, a stage and a microphone for singing along. The entrance is lined with pink carpet. Each guest has an individual mic for group numbers, solo turns and lip-sync contests. Every package comes with a hostess who manages the full event. The vehicle does not drive around; it remains parked for the full length of the party.

Depending on the package, guests can have makeup, hair extensions, glitter spray, mini manicures, braids, spa masks and spa robes. In the POP STAR package only the birthday girl gets glam services, while her friends join the dancing, microphones, lights and games. In the larger packages every girl takes part in the glam and spa sessions. The business says it adjusts the party to the age group, and most of its guests are between 5 and 12.

Boys are welcome at no extra charge and do not count toward the headcount, though they typically do not take part in glam services. Parties can be booked year-round up to 12 months ahead. A deposit reserves the date and the remaining balance is due the Monday before the party. Payment plans are offered through PayPal Pay Later; to get a PayPal invoice for the full party, the customer calls or texts before paying the deposit.

Travel is charged by driving distance and is added to the final invoice, separate from the package price and deposit. The fee is 75 dollars for locations up to 30 miles away, including Chula Vista and San Diego, and rises by zone. Locations 91 miles or more away are quoted individually. Customers can book through the online scheduling page or by calling or texting the business.
