Little Mountain Salon

Little Mountain Salon was established in July 2019 and is run by owner and stylist Ashley Bonenfant, who has worked as a hairstylist in Sierra Madre for more than 22 years. The salon sits in the East Montecito Shopping & Arts District.

The salon's specialty is natural-looking color planned around each client's routine while keeping hair healthy. Stylists also cut hair with attention to how each client wears their hair day to day, and the salon offers Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatments.

The salon describes its atmosphere as relaxing and says it keeps high standards of cleanliness, sanitation and safety for both clients and stylists. Hair products from R+Co are used and sold in the salon, along with Najeau follicle drops and scalp massage products and Honeycat Jewelry. The brand Najeau says its follicle drops and scalp massage stimulate blood flow and, with consistent use, help hair regrow; Honeycat describes itself as a California-based, female-founded and women-led brand making delicate jewelry at affordable prices.

Junior stylist Elena Giles works on model client appointments for cuts and color while in training, under the supervision of owner Ashley Bonenfant. Model client availability is limited and priced at a discount.
