Little Bird Denver Cory-Merrill

Little Bird Denver combines a children's boutique with a children's hair studio. Owner Caroline Hagadorn opened the store in November 2020. The boutique carries clothing, toys and gifts in sizes from preemie to 14 years, and its online store ships nationwide.

The hair studio aims to help kids look and feel good, and the business says it treats each child with care and aims to keep every visit safe. Children can watch shows on iPads, sitting either in a child-size chair shaped like a car or in a standard salon chair. Parents and guardians may sit nearby during appointments.

Services fall into haircuts, add-ons and additional services. Haircuts include short tapered and clipper cuts and above- and below-shoulder cuts, and second and third children booked together are priced the same as the first. Add-ons such as tinsel, color extensions and feather extensions, placed with microbeads, can be added to a cut.

The studio also hosts a babywearing meet-up on the third Thursday of each month at 10:30 AM, led by Mile High Babywearing. The boutique runs private shopping parties, with 15% of proceeds donated to a charity or school the host chooses.
