The founder built her work from the ground up. After starting in a salon alongside her sister, she began doing hair for clients from her apartment and gradually grew her client base before opening her own salon.

Visits can begin with a scalp and hair assessment to look at damage or existing conditions, or with a consultation to talk through hair length, density or color. Appointments require a $25 initial deposit that goes toward the total and is non-refundable. Clients are asked to have hair that is 3 to 4 inches long or longer, with a healthy scalp and hair.

The salon focuses on hair health, with assessments that look at damage or existing scalp and hair concerns before services begin.
