Services are grouped into face, body and bikini menus, with a separate sugaring group. Hair should be about a quarter inch long, roughly the size of a grain of rice, and trimming is included when needed. The business says regular sessions sync hair growth cycles over time, so hair grows back thinner and finer.

Some stubble can appear two to three weeks after a first session, because some hairs were still early in their growth cycle. Some brief pain is expected, and tolerance differs from person to person.

Before an appointment, clients are asked to drink plenty of water, go easy on heavy caffeine, and arrive with clean, dry skin and no lotions or oils that day. Exfoliate a couple of days beforehand, but not on the day itself, and stop retinol two weeks before a face session. Appointments can go ahead during a period if a tampon or menstrual cup is worn.

For the first 24 hours after, avoid bodies of water and saunas, heavy workouts, sexual activity, sun exposure, exfoliating and touching the area with dirty hands. From 48 hours on, exfoliate a few times a week and moisturize with an unscented lotion or body oil.

Hair is removed from the root in the direction of growth, using a lukewarm, water-soluble paste made of sugar, lemon and water. The business says this is less painful than waxing and exfoliates the skin as it works.
