The HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment that can include up to seven therapies, such as lymphatic drainage, microdermabrasion, a chemical peel, extractions, boosters, LED light and an antioxidant infusion. Boosters include Britenol, aimed at sun spots, dark spots and uneven tone, and Dermabuilder, aimed at fine lines and firmness. The practice describes its Vortex-Fusion delivery system as patented and cites a 12-week study of its Clarifying Treatment series. Clients are asked to pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for three to five days beforehand, and to use daily broad-spectrum SPF afterward.
