Bridal work is a long-standing part of the business, with services offered on Long Beach Island since 2009. Hair and makeup trials are recommended but not required. Because trials are larger appointments, the salon suggests booking them one to three months before the wedding. Clients who skip a trial can book a complimentary consultation, which is a discussion only and does not include makeup or styling. Wedding day options include formal styling and updos, traditional makeup, and airbrush makeup.
Bridal booking has a few set steps. A signed contract and a non-refundable $100 booking fee, paid by cash or check, are needed before wedding day services are confirmed. Changes or cancellations must be given in writing at least 90 days before the service date, or the full amount is charged to the card on file. Final timelines and services are set three months before the wedding, and later changes are not guaranteed. Bridal party members who need washing or arrive with wet hair before a formal styling are charged an extra $40 or more, and bridal styles that use extensions carry an additional charge. Facial waxing is not recommended on the wedding day, so the salon suggests one to three days before.
For a visit, coffee, tea and water are available, and clients may bring their own food and drinks. Photographers and videographers are welcome at bridal appointments. Hair accessories such as pins, clips, combs and twists are sold at the salon, and gift cards are available. Gratuity is not included in service prices, and prices can vary with hair length, thickness and the amount of product used.
According to the salon, the aim is to make the bridal experience smooth and low-stress for the bride and her party, with trials and early planning.
