Lavish Hair Studio is a family-owned and operated salon that has been in the NeMar Shopping Center for nearly 40 years. The salon serves men, women and children with haircuts, including clipper cuts and deep conditioning.
Color services cover all-over color, specialty color, blonding techniques and vibrant fashion colors. Color correction is also offered at $125 an hour. It requires a consultation and a signed contract before the appointment begins. Clients need to share their color history and any medications at that consultation, and appointment length varies and cannot be estimated as a time range.
Extensions include tape-in and hand-tied options, and both require a consultation. A non-refundable deposit is taken at the first extension consultation to purchase the hair needed. Eyelash extensions come in classic, hybrid and volume styles. Application is guaranteed for up to 5 days. Clients should arrive without makeup, or pay an extra $15 for removal, and must be comfortable lying on their back for an extended period. Clients who wear contact lenses are asked to bring glasses and not wear contacts during and right after the service.
The salon also offers the Smoothing System and The Original Brazilian Blowout, with the Brazilian Blowout shampoo provided in-salon. Clients having the Brazilian Blowout are advised to color their hair before the treatment or wait a couple of weeks or more after it. Facial waxing, specialty perms, and updos and styling with natural or full glam makeup for bridal and special occasions round out the menu.
Booking is by phone at (918) 343-4247, and walk-ins are welcome. Hours are Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm; the salon is closed Sundays and Mondays. Appointment changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and a $50 fee is added to the next appointment if that notice isn't given. The salon offers a service and product guarantee if clients contact it within 7 days of a visit, but it does not give refunds of any kind. Pricing for services other than color correction is available by calling the salon. Clients get free WiFi and free beverages.
