Routine eye care includes comprehensive exams that check visual acuity, eye pressure and the full structure of the eye, typically recommended once a year or as needed. Vision correction prescriptions cover glasses and contacts, with guidance on lens choices. Contact lens fittings look at eye shape, tear production and visual needs, and cover standard, multifocal and specialty lenses, with training for people new to contacts. The practice also lists colored, daily, SynergEyes and astigmatism contact lenses.
Medical eye care covers diagnosis and management of conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and cataracts, with ongoing care plans. Dry eye treatment may involve prescription drops, in-office procedures or lifestyle changes. Diabetic eye exams use dilated retinal evaluations and imaging, and the practice coordinates with a patient's primary doctor when needed. Pediatric eye care includes vision testing, screening for eye conditions and prescription management, and the practice also lists myopia control for children. Emergency care is available for sudden vision changes, injuries and infections, and the practice lists treatment for eye allergies and pink eye. Eye surgery is offered for cataracts, glaucoma and other conditions when surgery is necessary, and the practice lists eyelid, glaucoma and retinal surgery, keratoconus treatment with Intacs, and cataract surgery at the Newark office. The practice says its ophthalmologists have extensive surgical experience. LASIK consultations cover eye health and prescription review, an explanation of the procedure, post-operative guidance and referrals. The practice also offers patient education on cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye and lazy eye, and lists vision therapy programs.
The skin care menu includes cosmetic laser procedures used to resurface skin and address wrinkles, lines, scars, spots, warts and enlarged oil glands. Pulsed light hair removal is offered for the upper lip, bikini line, chest, back, underarms, legs and neck. Photofacials use intense pulsed light for sunspots, rosacea and varicose veins. Laser skin care is used for sun-damaged skin, wrinkles and liver spots, and microdermabrasion and Obagi skin care systems are also listed. Medical estheticians create customized treatment plans, and the practice offers physician-prescribed skin care products.
The Optical Boutique carries designer eyeglasses and sunglasses from several brands, along with custom frames and blue light blocking lenses, and the practice also offers budget-friendly eyewear packages. The practice says it uses modern equipment to aim for precise prescription results. Laser vision correction includes a complimentary consultation, which can be requested by online form or phone.
The practice describes itself as a team of optometry and ophthalmology experts, pairing modern equipment with careful prescription work and patient education on eye conditions.
