Lauren the Stylist is a private studio in Richardson, run by owner stylist Lauren Hosage. Clients book by appointment, and the studio is open Wednesday from 11 AM to 7 PM, Friday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday closed.

Extensions are the studio's main focus. Keratin bond, tape and weft extensions are offered, and a complimentary 30-minute consultation helps clients choose the method that suits them. Installs range from fill-ins for sides or bangs, which take about an hour, to transformational extensions, which take around six hours and require an in-person consultation and a non-refundable deposit. Volume and length installs are also offered. Sew-in weft takedowns and reinstalls are recommended every five to six weeks after a bead moveup, or eight weeks after the first install, and some hair types may need a reinstall rather than a moveup. Extensions removal and KTIPS removal and rebonding are priced by consultation.

Color services cover full custom blonding, refresh blonding around the hairline and crown, mini blonding around the hairline, balayage, lived-in color, and solid shades in black, brunette and red. Corrective color, root retouches and platinum root retouches are also available. Cuts, bang trims and undercuts, and blowouts are offered alongside color and extension work, with a surcharge for very long or thick hair or extensions on blowouts.

Pricing and timeframes are estimates, and booking means agreeing to the studio's terms. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice; later cancellations are charged half the service price, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged the full price. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule or forfeit part of the service, and fees must be paid before rebooking after a no-show. Services are not refundable, so clients with concerns should reach out within seven days so adjustments can be made.
