The founder trained more than ten years ago in Japan and returns there every one to two years for further training. The salon's method blends its own experience with techniques from several schools in Japan and the United States. The salon says its master technicians apply extensions faster than typical salon technicians and that it uses only the materials and methods it considers best.

New clients book online and enter a credit card to hold the appointment. Light classic sets take about an hour and medium classic sets about 75 minutes. Refills are offered only to clients returning within four weeks, and clients coming from another salon cannot book one; anyone else needs a full set and removal first.

Lash cleansing cleans every lash and removes old ones, adding about 15 minutes to a refill. Clients returning within 10 days of their last service can book off-menu touch-ups. Removal costs $25 for Lashism clients and $35 for lashes applied elsewhere, and takes 20 to 30 minutes.

The salon combines its own experience with techniques from Japanese and US training schools, and says it uses only the best materials and methods, which it says makes its extensions last longer.
