Lash Therapy is owned and run by Nicki Vinn, a licensed esthetician who has focused on lash extensions for more than ten years. The studio is in the uptown part of San Diego, between Hillcrest and Bankers Hill.
The menu is built around full sets in five styles, ranging from one extension on each natural lash to hand-made fans of very fine extensions. Touch-ups are recommended every two to three weeks to keep the set full. The studio also removes extensions, including complicated removals from work that was poorly applied.
Full set appointments should be planned for two and a half to three and a half hours. Each full set booking takes a $50 deposit that is applied to the total due on the day, and deposits are non-refundable. Changing a booking within five days of making it requires a new deposit. Touch-ups booked more than four weeks after the last appointment are treated as full sets, and returning clients with few extensions left are charged the returning full set rate.
Every full set includes a lash-extension-safe cleanser, an extension-safe eyeliner, and a lash extension care card for aftercare. The salon describes itself as offering the best lashes in town.
Lash work is shaped to the look a client wants, from natural to voluminous, and maintained with touch-ups on a regular schedule.
