Full sets run from classic extensions, the most common type for natural, simple looks, to hybrid, wet look, volume (3-5D) and mega volume (6D-10D) sets. Half sets extend only the outer half of the natural lashes for a subtle lift. Hybrid sets add some fullness for clients trying a light volume set, while wet look combines classic lashes with a textured volume look for a wide-eyed, dramatic style. Volume lashes are less thick than classic ones, which suits glam makeup and can work for thin or sparse natural lashes. Mega volume is aimed at very dramatic looks for special events, and length and thickness are settled with the stylist without changing the price.

Fills are offered within two to three weeks of a full set, and the salon notes that after that window a new full set is the better value. Bottom lashes and removal are also available. Clients with a previous allergic reaction or sensitivity to lash extensions are recommended to book a patch test, which runs 25 minutes with the test itself taking about 15 minutes.
