Before laser treatment, clients are asked to shave the area 24 to 48 hours ahead, avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks, and skip spray tanning or tanning for four to six weeks. Waxing, threading and tweezing in the treatment area should stop at least a month before, and Botox, micro-needling, chemical peels and fillers should be avoided for two weeks. BHAs, AHAs, retinoids and benzoyl peroxide should be paused for at least seven days.
