Laser hair removal is done with QUANTA laser systems, which the site says are handmade in Italy. The method pairs two wavelengths, 755 Alexandrite and 1064 YAG. The studio does not use IPL for hair removal, citing lasers as more effective for that purpose. Numbing can be arranged in advance for clients who want it. The salon says results vary, with a 70 to 80 percent reduction generally expected after 6 to 8 treatments. Before a session, clients are asked to shave the area and to avoid tanning and oral antibiotics for at least two weeks. Waxing and plucking are not recommended beforehand, since the laser needs the hair root. Afterward, sun exposure, tanning beds and spray tans in the treated area should be avoided for two weeks on darker skin tones or four weeks on lighter ones. A client who is not safe to treat on a given day will be rescheduled.
