Kristi Redd Esthetics

Kristi Redd Esthetics is a private skin care practice in Charlotte that focuses on acne. Treatment is offered to men and women of all ages, including teens, and covers teen acne, cystic acne, hormonal acne, and hyperpigmentation. Anti-aging and acne care can be combined for clients who want both addressed.

A first visit is an Initial Consultation Facial, a one-hour appointment that includes a detailed skin analysis and a customized treatment plan for acne management and general skin health. Facials are customized at each appointment, and the practice does not keep a large menu of facial types. Acne care is usually a series of monthly or bi-monthly facials paired with clinical-grade, professional-grade products, along with guidance on lifestyle and behavior changes that may reduce common acne triggers.

Booking works differently from a walk-in spa. Services are by appointment only, new clients are pre-approved before they can book, and there is often a waiting list for new clients. Clients using retinols, AHA/BHAs, prescription acne medicine, or several other named acne and skin medicines are asked to stop them at least seven days before the first visit. Appointments rescheduled or canceled with less than 24 hours' notice carry a $100 fee, except in cases of illness, and late arrivals may have their session shortened while still being charged for the full session.

Located on the lower level of a brick office building in Carmel Park II, inside Salons by JC, the practice is open Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday daytime, and Wednesday and Thursday evenings. It is closed on Mondays and Sundays.

Each visit begins with a thorough skin analysis and consultation, and treatment is shaped around the client's needs. The acne approach identifies the specific type of acne, explains its likely causes, and builds a tailored plan without medications or antibiotics.
