Krimson Hair Studio has been operating for more than twenty years. In February 2025 the building's landlord announced a sale, and the studio moved to a new space on Burbank Blvd. The new room has a warm, Moroccan-inspired design and updated decor.
Amanda Rotunno owns the salon, has led it for more than 20 years, and also works as a stylist there. According to the salon, it has received Burbank's Best Hairstylist and Burbank's Best Salon honors for over two decades.
Pricing is custom and set for each client, and additional fees may apply. Services are non-refundable, though a corrective service may be scheduled when appropriate, and clients should raise any concern at the time of service or within 48 hours after. Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice, and a 50% deposit may be required for the next appointment. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule or have services shortened.
The studio treats hair as an art form, and each stylist works from their own specialty and creative vision.
