The menu is organized around several kinds of hair work. Healthy hair services include a signature silk press, a silk press with a trim, a silk press with a deep treatment, and a vintage roller set. Loc services cover loc detox, loc retwists with or without styling, and starter locs. Texture services include two strand twists, relaxers with style, and perms with style. Color services and highlights are offered as separate groups, along with hair cuts, children's trims and updos, and add-ons such as detangling and an RX scalp treatment. A basic facial is also on the menu.
New clients need to book a consultation before their first appointment. Guests are not allowed at appointments, and the studio has no waiting area, so clients should plan to come in on their own.
Deposits are used to hold appointments. With 24 or more hours' notice, a booking can be rescheduled without losing the deposit. With less than 24 hours' notice the deposit is forfeited and a new one is needed to rebook. A no-show forfeits the deposit, and rebooking may require a larger deposit or the full service fee. Arriving 15 or more minutes late may mean the appointment is shortened, adjusted or canceled, with the deposit kept. All service payments are non-refundable. Any concern about a service should be raised within 48 hours, and corrections are handled case by case without a guaranteed refund.
Each appointment is kept separate, with surfaces disinfected between clients, disposable supplies used, a handwashing station available and a gap of time between bookings.
