KLA Beauty is a cosmetology academy at 719 W Harris Rd, unit A30, in Arlington. The academy says it has graduated and licensed thousands of students since 2012 through its TDLR-approved programs, and its stated mission centers on empowerment through education and mindset.

The 16-week esthetician license program has a total tuition of $9,800 and requires a $1,000 deposit to hold a seat; that deposit is refundable within 72 hours of purchase. Students choose a morning class from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or an evening class from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with classes capped at 10 students. The curriculum covers facials, chemical peels, waxing, brow lamination, lash lift and eyelash application, with hands-on model practice and business, marketing and social media training. The state written and practical exams are prepared for inside class time, with no separate workshop. The eyelash specialty license is listed at $4,000 to $5,500, with classes of up to 10 students supervised by four educators and students working on live models. Instruction is taught by four lash trainers covering classic, hybrid and volume techniques, and a student kit is included. The 8-week eyelash license is also available as an online course covering lash application, consultation and aftercare, lash mapping and styling, troubleshooting and extension removal. The academy says the online option suits people new to lash work, beauty professionals adding lash services, and people with busy schedules.

Shorter courses are also offered. The one-day brow lamination class covers brow theory, lamination technique, shaping, styling, aftercare and product knowledge, with live model practice, a catered lunch, a starter kit, a student manual and a certificate of completion; it holds 10 to 12 students and has a $150 deposit. The academy describes the results as lasting 4 to 6 weeks. The two-day master lash class covers classic and wispy sets on day one and live model work on day two, with a Deluxe kit that includes a mannequin, a student manual and printed templates; it has a $300 deposit and a total cost of $800. A lash lift class and a Volume Mastery course on volume fan building, mapping and texturing are also listed.

Deposits and rescheduling terms differ by course. Brow lamination purchases are final with no refunds, and a date change costs $100 with 14 days' notice. Master lash deposits are non-refundable but can move to another date up to two weeks before the original course, with at least 72 hours' notice to reschedule.
