Kinky Twisted Coils

Kinky Twisted Coils focuses on natural hair, including kinks, twists and coils. The salon describes itself as a safe place to learn about natural hair and to embrace it. KTC Academy runs educational workshops. Braiding for Beginners covers clean parts, hand and finger placement and how to braid a neat cornrow, and a refresher version lets students practice. Love Your Hair teaches girls aged 6 to 17 basic hair care, tailored to each participant, at schools, aftercare settings and recreation centers. Daddy's Girl gives dads hands-on hair care for their daughters, including scarf protection, moisturizing, detangling and securing a ponytail.

Stylists personalize each service to the client's hair, and the salon aims to teach clients to care for their hair at home while keeping visits timely without cutting service quality.
