The salon serves Black and Brown women with afro, curly, kinky and coily hair. It describes its space as a sanctuary for empowerment, self-love and textured hair care. The salon is inside Vintage at Century Farms in Antioch and serves clients in the Nashville, Tennessee area.

Booking is by appointment only, with no walk-ins or same-day appointments, and requests made by verbal message are not accepted. First-time clients book a separate $30 consultation, which takes about 15 to 20 minutes and is not held on the same day as the first service. Before the consultation, hair should be shampooed within 48 hours and arrive free of products, extensions and styled locs, and not blow dried or straightened. The consultation looks at hair health, scalp, goals and lifestyle, and a requested style is not done if the salon judges it is not right for the client's hair. The salon asks clients to come alone and does not accept guests or children who are not receiving services. The owner reserves the right to decline service.

A non-refundable deposit is required for loc starts, loc extensions and color services. It goes toward the final total if the appointment is kept and is forfeited if it is missed. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours notice, and late cancellations and no-shows are charged the full service fee before rebooking. Loc maintenance is recommended every 6 to 8 weeks, and the price may be adjusted if maintenance goes beyond 10 weeks. The salon does not serve clients with relaxers on their hair and does not offer blowouts, silk presses, flat ironing or other thermal straightening.

The salon states that its services use plant-based, sustainable ingredients and prioritizes eco-friendly practices. Its Queen of Kinks line is a plant-based haircare range made by hand for hair, scalp and skin. The Green Vibes Only program takes back clean, empty containers in exchange for 15% off the next order. The salon donates 2% of its proceeds each year to support survivors of domestic violence, including in-kind product contributions, and it commits to serving at least 75% local and independent clients.
