Kimmelashes works from inside Tora House of Beauty at 707 W Lancaster Blvd in Lancaster. The studio is open Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, and closed Saturday through Monday.

New clients receive a free aftercare kit with a foam eye cleanser, a lash wash brush, an eyelash brush wand and a microfiber towel. The business recommends cleaning extensions every day, since lashes wear out quickly without the right supplies. Makeup can be worn with extensions if it is not waterproof, and should be removed before the lashes are washed.

Before booking, clients complete an online consent form covering the risks of the procedure and any allergies or conditions they have. Each appointment requires a nonrefundable booking fee, which is credited toward services. Appointments can be booked up to four weeks ahead, and changes need 24 hours' notice. Arriving 15 minutes late cancels the appointment and forfeits the fee, and no-shows or last-minute cancellations forfeit it too, with another fee needed to rebook. On arrival, clients text, silence their phones, avoid chewing gum and wait in their car until called in.

Clients who book a full set are responsible for booking refills on their lash cycle. If refills are not open on the artist's booking system, they can be booked with the Tora team through torahouseofbeauty.com. Refills done somewhere other than Tora require a full set at the next visit. The studio will also work over lash extensions done by other artists, not only full sets. No refunds are given for irritation; the artist can remove the lashes, and clients with symptoms are asked to see a doctor.

The focus is on care between visits, with daily cleaning guidance and a willingness to take on lash work started by other artists.
